UV Protection & Waterproof

The sail awning is made from 160GSM High-Density Polyester (PES) waterproof fabric with a PU coating, ensuring tear-resistance and waterproof seal up to 400 kPa. It effectively blocks up to 98% of harmful UV rays and direct sunlight, providing excellent sun protection. Additionally, its breathable fabric allows for air circulation, contributing to a degree of waterproofing and cooling.

Scientific Manufacturing

Due to the inherent characteristics of this polymer waterproof fabric, the finished product may deviate by ±2 inches. To maintain uniformity, we spliced it into shape during production. However, you have nothing to worry about regarding water leakage at the splice. Our latest hot adhesive film covering technology ensures a water-tight seal at the joints. Therefore, during installation, ensure the hot glue surface faces downwards.

Measurement & Installation

Before installation, measure and clean the area where the Sun visor will be placed. Leave a margin of 0.5-1 feet between the fixing point and the sunshade sail to ensure proper installation of hardware/hooks or ropes. The waterproof shade sail should be mounted at a 20-40 degree angle and correctly tensioned to prevent water accumulation.
